Akeem Adams out of coma and improving .

Akeem Adams,Trinidad and Tobago national footballer and now the Ferencváros defender in Hungary  ,who suffered a heart attack , was placed in an artificial coma  and  currently surviving on an artificial heart after he  underwent a life-saving surgery because he developed necrosis  in his lower left leg which had to be amputated.
An artificial or barb coma, is a temporary coma that is brought on by a controlled dose of a barbiturate drug.

Yesterday doctors decided to wake him up  from the artificial coma and he was able to respond to his family .
However, the Hungarian hospital’s cardiologist, Zsolt Szelid, admitted that the next 48 hours would be crucial towards Adams’ future.

The doctors previously placed Adams in an artificial coma due to the severity of the situation, but awoke him to analyze  how his body would react to a new scenario.

Both in Trinidad and Tobago and Hungary ,fans have been supporting him by buying special T shirts on sale to support him in his recovery
