THE Tobago House of Assembly Division of Agriculture said the sale of sheep for breeding from farms at Blenheim and Studley Parks in Tobago has been suspended.

Officials are treating affected livestock to reduce transmission and prevent further spread of a sheep disease which is affecting the facilities.

The Division said strict bio-security protocols and continuous testing have been put in place.

Additionally, animals will not be purchased for the farms without having the veterinary section test them.
