I would like to congratulate the President on his enlightening 2013 Republic Day Message. It was the first time I heard one of our Presidents try to highlight the difference between Independence Day and Republic Day. I was really impressed. I hope the President will make this distinction one of the themes of his presidency: while discipline, production and tolerance were given to us as watchwords at independence, they really have to become the foundation upon which our Republican status will be consoildated. Well said, Mr President!
